The students will learn more about mathematics and agriculture by following a farmer´s daily work during the whole year. Students will meet farmers both on farm and in the classroom (in the latter case they will use digital instruments, like Facetime a Farmer). Before every meeting, teachers and farmers will plan the learning activities that contain links between mathematics and the agricultural world. The students will have different math problems to solve, not only in the calssroom but even during the visits on the farm. At the beginning of each activity, teachers (or farmers) will ask the students what they already know about the daily lesson. After the activity, the students will leave some ”Exit tickets” to the teacher (or farmer) in order to see if they have learnt something new. This practical and interactive method will reinforce and develop students´knowledge about mathematics and agricolture.
